Blue-faced Malkoha

The striking blue eye is where it gets its name from.  It is found in open forests and scurb jungles. Its head and beak are dark green and tail has white edges. The bill is green and the eye has a large blue patch. It nests in thorny bushes and lays 2-3 eggs. It feed on insects, caterpillars and small vertebrates.

Call: A low croak..kraa
Scientific Name: Phaenicophaeus viridirostris (Least Concern)
